Why does the planet need these?
Plastic bags are pollution: Over 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year, and plastic bags are one of the top 4 contributors to that waste. Plastic bags are one of the many plastics that break up into "microplastics", which end up in the bellies of many marine animals, including our mascot, the narwhal! This ends up choking marine life, or if they survive, ends up being ingested by us.
Reusable bags do not contribute to waste: By using reusable bags for produce and other groceries, you are significantly cutting down on your plastic waste, and doing that much more for the planet.
Why do you need these?

Reusable Mesh Produce Bags (9 Pcs)
We use them as we grocery shop to replace the plastic ones provided at the store. Then when we get home, the bags go right in the fridge. We have found that produce lasts longer in these bags compared to the plastic.
These bags are easy to use and help keep our produce fresher longer.
I love not having to waste plastic bags to bring fresh produce home from the grocery store. I accidentally left some of these behind one day and immediately ordered more to replace them.
All who received my gift of produce bags appreciated them. So many are eager to reduce the single use plastic bags. Added to that, those flimsy bags cannot be opened easily without removing one’s mask in the store! They need a drop of moisture to loosen the opening. Not so with the easily opened mesh bag! Thanks!
